Desperate Housewives Season 8 and more, coming soon on DStv!

DStv audiences across Africa can tune in to the exciting eighth season of Desperate Housewives as the story of housewife, Mary Alice Young, who decided to end it all continues on the hit TV series.

Her circle of girlfriends on Wisteria Lane includes Susan Delfino , a known klutz who recently moved back into her home on Wisteria Lane after struggling with financial issues; Lynette Scavo , who has just gotten separated from her husband; Bree Van de Kamp , whose love life walks on not-so-solid ground; the ex-model turned housewife Gabrielle Solis, who finds herself coping with a big secret she’s keeping… along with her friends.The ladies now welcome the most recent addition to their clique, Renee Perry, a former college roommate of Lynette’s, who is sure to shake things up on the street. The Good Wife Season 3

The Good Wife is a drama starring Emmy Award winner Julianna Margulies as a wife and mother who boldly assumes full responsibility for her family and re-enters the workforce after her husband’s very public sex and political corruption scandal lands him in jail. Pushing aside the betrayal and crushing public humiliation caused by her husband, Peter, Alicia Florrick starts over by pursuing her original career as a defense attorney. As a junior associate at a prestigious Chicago law firm, she joins her longtime friend, former law school classmate and firm partner Will Gardner, who is interested in rekindling their former relationship.

The firm’s top litigator and other partner, Diane Lockhart, likes Alicia’s work and her connections so she and Will award her with a full-time associate position following a trial period. Alicia beat out Cary Agos, a clever young attorney who takes a job in the state’s attorney’s office, now bitter and vengeful. Alicia finds an ally and a friend in Kalinda, the firm’s tough and mysterious in-house investigator. Gaining confidence every day, Alicia transforms herself from embarrassed politician’s scorned wife to resilient career woman, especially for the sake of providing a stable home for her children, 14-year-old Zach and 13-year-old Grace. Now that Peter is back home and planning to run for office again with help from Eli Gold, his cunning image consultant, Alicia continues to redefine herself and her role in her family’s life. CSI Miami Season 10

CSI: Miami follows a South Florida team of forensic investigators who use both cutting-edge scientific methods and old-fashioned police work to solve crimes. Horatio Caine, a former homicide detective, heads a group of investigators who work crimes amid the steamy tropical surroundings and cultural crossroads of Miami. His team includes Calleigh Duquesne, a bilingual Southern beauty with a specialty in ballistics; Eric Delko, an underwater recovery expert who knows all the twists and turns of the Florida waterways; and Ryan Wolfe, a former patrol officer who specializes in blood and trace evidence. Rounding out the team is Natalia Boa Vista, the enigmatic DNA specialist and Walter Simmons, who has transferred over from the night shift. Helping Horatio with cases is Det. Frank Tripp, a tough yet thorough police officer. Together, these investigators collect and analyze the evidence to solve the crimes and to avenge those who cannot speak for themselves – the victims. The World’s Greatest Motorcycle Rides – Australia:

For his epic journey across the south of the country, Henry Cole boards his Harley Davidson Street Glide and attempts to ride from Sydney to Perth. The greatest risk to Henry’s health is the wildlife, which have a habit of throwing themselves in front of vehicles after dusk. After two days’ riding where Henry arrives at his location well after dusk, he is forced to reassess the vastness of this country and the schedule he is trying to keep to. Can he survive the Outback and, even more challenging than that, the Aussies’ sense of humour? Watch it on Thursdays from 23 February at 21.00 CAT.

Giuliana and Bill (Season 4 Premiere): Docu-series following Giuliana and Bill Rancic as they maintain their bi-coastal marriage (Giuliana based in LA, Bill based in Chicago). DStv audiences can tune into Style from Thursday 16 February at 22:10 CAT to watch them juggle work and their relationship on different sides of the country. This season sees Giuliana and Bill decide to enjoy a year of fun but a wrench is thrown in their plans; and Bill moves to Los Angeles to be with Giuliana, but she’s leaving the country to cover the Royal Wedding.

Kourtney and Kim Take New York (Season 2): Kourtney and Kim return to the Big Apple, along with their men, and with both couples living under one roof, New York will never be the same. Newlyweds Kim and Kris join up with Kourtney and Scott to take a bite out of the Big Apple, but with two couples and a baby all living under one roof, things don’t go exactly as planned. An African Journey with Jonathan Dimbleby: DStv audiences can tune into BBC World News on Saturday 11 February at 11:10 CAT to watch as in this episode, Jonathan Dimbleby travels 2 000 miles through East Africa’s Rift Valley. Starting in Ethiopia he discovers the great strides being made to safeguard the country from future famines, whilst in Kenya he finds out how mobile phones are revolutionising small businesses and even the lives of Maasai tribes. In Tanzania he joins in a football match with the judges and guards of Africa’s own Human Rights Commission and meets the street kids in Dar Es Salaam who are building an international profile for their music.
