DStv presents royal wedding special ahead of William and Kate wedding

The media is buzzing with news about the royal union between Prince William and Kate Middleton taking place Friday April, 29 at Westminster Abbey. From analyses on who makes the list of invited guests to the top ten things that the couple would miss most after their reunion, the press all over the globe have looked at this anticipated wedding from every possible angle. In celebrations of the wedding, the Discovery Channel (on DStv) plans to air a special strip of programming leading up to this wedding of the year.

Programmes include The Biggest Day, a behind-the-scenes documentary which interviews key members of the events team who will work together on the day to ensure the wedding is a success; Wild About Harry, a telling documentary featuring archive footage and interviews with those closest to Prince Harry, revealing how he has become a war hero, charity campaigner and a royal celebrity in his own right; 30 Years in 30 Days, which highlights the stories of the royal weddings, births, funerals and scandals from the past 30 years, and explores how the Royal family have emerged more compassionate than ever before; and Royal Hoarding, where fanatical royal collectors take us on a tour of their homes. From high end items to tacky trash, we try to understand why these people are so royally obsessed. Monday 25 April from 18:10 CAT
