Ghanaian photographers Twinsdntbeg have dismissed long-standing rumours that former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and his wife, Samira Bawumia, gifted them a house and a V8 vehicle.

Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo, the twins described the claims as false, insisting they had never received such gifts from the couple.

When asked whether it was true that the Bawumias had bought them a house, one of the twins replied, “It’s not true.”

Nana Romeo followed up by asking if they had at least been given a V8 vehicle, but they again denied the claim.

“It’s not true. You would have seen a V8 as you got here,” they said.

When the host jokingly suggested they might be hiding the vehicle because of the cameras, the twins responded with a subtle jab at actor-turned-politician John Dumelo.

“We are not John Dumelo,” they remarked.

Asked what John Dumelo had done, the twins declined to elaborate, saying, “Go and look into it, then you’ll find out. Look for John Dumelo and V8, you’ll know.”

The conversation later shifted to their close relationship as twins, with Nana Romeo suggesting that since they think alike and share similar interests, they could end up marrying the same woman.

The twins, however, ruled out that possibility.

“Oh no. When it comes to taste in women, we have the same taste in women and some women look alike, but it doesn’t mean we’ll end up marrying the same woman just because we have the same taste,” they explained.

“We are not Dumelo to have taken a V8 from Bawumia. Neither Bawumia nor his office bought us a V8 vehicle, as has been claimed.” — TwinsDntBeg
