Ghanaian actress Vivian Jill Lawrence delivered an emotional tribute at the burial of her late sister, Mabel Ntuah, stating that if it were possible to bury loved ones in heaven, her family would have done that because she deserved nothing but the best.

Speaking through tears at the funeral, Vivian Jill reflected on the pain of losing her sister and revealed that she had to remain strong to give her a befitting burial.

“If we could bury people in heaven, we would have buried you in heaven. I am pitiful, Mabel’s mother is pitiful, the family is pitiful. Rest well, my queen,” she said.

The actress also appealed to anyone who may have been hurt by her late sister to forgive her, while encouraging Mabel to forgive those who had wronged her.

“If you’re here and Adwoa offended you, I am just pleading on her behalf; forgive her, okay? Adwoa, if someone harmed or offended you as you’re leaving, forgiveness is a choice. If you want to fight, fight. God should go with you,” she stated.

Vivian Jill further prayed for God to welcome her sister into His kingdom, describing Mabel as a kind-hearted woman who touched many lives during her lifetime.

“God, you know the purpose for which you created the person who is joining you today. She has done a lot. Adwoa did a lot. Adwoa had helped people. Hide her in your bosom. God, find her a space in your house and we will meet in the future,” she prayed.

Holding back tears, the actress recalled one of the last pieces of advice her sister gave her, saying she had drawn strength from those words throughout the painful period leading to the funeral.

“Adwoa, I am just quietly looking at you. I remember what you told me sometime ago, that I should be strong. Adwoa, if I had not been strong in your death… because I wanted to bury you well because you deserve everything good,” she said.
