The Founder and Leader of the Mandate of Christ Chapel, Apostle Kwame Adom Asempa has emphasised the need for Christians to embrace sex before marriage.
According to him, premarital sex prevents unwanted abortion as the partners would be confident to show their unborn child.
Speaking in an interview with Ghanaian-based Journalist living in South Africa, Elvis Anokye on YouTube he said many people have engaged in several abortions because they are afraid their pastors and parents would rebuke them for failure to maintain sexual purification before marriage.
This, he believes, is a result of false teachings that sex before marriage is a sin.
Backing his argument with Bible quotations "Exodus 22: 16 and I Corinthians 7: 36" Apostle Adom Asempa categorically stated that sex before marriage is not a sin as perceived by some Christians.
"You can lie to all men, but it is difficult to lie to yourself. Because of the perception that sex before marriage is a sin, many women have aborted their pregnancy because she is afraid to face church discipline which will lead her to step out of ministry for a season." He fumed.
He added that through the abortion, many young women have lost their lives.
"The sex before marriage is not a small issue, it has led many young women to their early grave," he lamented.
