Multiple award-winning Ghanaian gospel artiste Minister Ike has launched a fierce, scathing attack on the government following stricter enforcement and increased penalties against pastors preaching on moving public transport vehicles.

Speaking in an exclusive interview on Hot 93.9FM, Minister Ike made sensational claims, alleging that the ban is part of a sinister agenda linked to upcoming national elections

The Gospel star asserted that divine protection is lost when gospel preaching is prohibited in commercial vehicles, leaving passengers vulnerable to fatal road crashes.

The multiple award-winning Canada-based Ghanaian Gospel artiste suggested that the government intentionally instituted the ban so road accidents would increase, which would provide blood for spiritual rituals to help them retain political power:

“God’s work does not stay in one place… it can be preached anywhere, so how can they say God’s servants shouldn’t preach on vehicles?” Minister Ike questioned.

“So banning preaching on vehicles means the government doesn’t think about God… Preaching on vehicles prevents accidents. Anything without God, the enemy is there.”He added

When explicitly asked by the host whether he believed the upcoming elections prompted the government to ban vehicle evangelism so people would die to supply ritual blood, Minister Ike, who is set to drop his new single ‘Nyame Aseda’ that features Great Ampong on Monday, October 19, 2026, responded plainly:

“Yes… It can be so.”
