Kumawood actor Wayoosi has thrown his support behind colleague actor Salinko after the latter became the subject of social media criticism.
Recently, Salinko has been heavily criticised online after videos of him went viral on social media, showing him gifting cars and promising to give some amount of money to actors in the film industry.
Following Salinko’s promises, some netizens took to social media to call for the actor’s source of wealth to be investigated.

In a recent development, Wayoosi, in an interview shared on X, noted that this is not the first time Salinko has been generous.
According to him, the actor is naturally a generous person and finds pleasure in giving, even if it is the little he has.
Further explaining, Wayoosi noted that Salinko has on numerous occasions gifted him cash, adding that the actor does not hesitate to give his salary to crew members during movie productions.
“Ever since I got to know Salinko, if he was the one holding this phone and you told him that you wanted it, he would give you the phone and take only his SIM card. This is not the first time I have seen him giving out cash.

“Sometimes, he can have money, but when someone asks him for money, he would dash the money and go hungry. We can be on set; immediately we are done with production and receive our money, Salinko go share the money with the crew,” he said.
Wayoosi further recounted how Salinko gifted his ex-wife’s father his only car during their divorce.
“During their divorce, Salinko gave his ex-wife’s father his car, and he was walking; it was even a Benz. He didn’t start giving to people today. He is someone who thinks about people.
“I see that the way he has been recognised by others lately is through the blessing of God,” he added.
