Joint 77 shows off his rose gold watch, which he says costs roughly £15,000

Ghanaian musician Joint 77 has revealed that his rose gold wristwatch costs about £15,000, explaining that the expensive timepiece was purchased for him by his new record label.

Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo on Okay FM on September 9, 2026, Joint 77 disclosed that the watch was bought at Bicester Village in the United Kingdom, a popular luxury shopping destination.

“My watch is rose gold and it’s very expensive. My new label got it for me and we bought it at Bicester Village in the UK. Those in the UK who know Bicester know that the place is not for kids. The watch costs roughly like £15,000,” he said.

Joint 77, who recently returned to Ghana, also stated that he does not owe anyone in the country, challenging anyone who believes he owes them money to contact him so he can settle the debt.

“I’m not owing anyone in Ghana, but if you know I’m owing you, text me and I will settle you. If you should take my watch, I won’t be okay with it,” he stated.

The musician also spoke about changes he has noticed in Ghana since his return, including the construction of overheads and the opening of more stores.

He said the new overheads have helped ease traffic in some areas and praised President John Dramani Mahama for what he described as positive developments in the country.

“When I came back to Ghana, I’ve seen a lot of changes. I’ve seen more stores in town and the overheads too have been constructed. In my area, at first, we didn’t have overheads to pass on, but now, they’ve constructed some and it has made some things easier, like the traffic. I think our president is doing well, so far, so good,” he shared.

He further disclosed that he noticed another change immediately after arriving at the airport, saying the facility was now being referred to as Accra International Airport instead of Kotoka International Airport.

“When I got to the airport, I realized the name had been changed. When I left, it was Kotoka, but now it’s Accra International Airport,” he added.
