Ghanaian actress Nana Adwoa Lovia has admitted that she likes her colleague, Jeffrey Nortey, adding that they make a good-looking pair despite insisting they are not in a romantic relationship.

Speaking in an interview with ZionFelix, Lovia addressed persistent speculation about her relationship with the actor after they were recently seen together following a photoshoot.

She explained that although they are not dating, Jeffrey has become an important person in her life, describing him as an amazing friend who has supported her career.

According to Lovia, she values people who genuinely want to see her succeed, revealing that Jeffrey, as a senior colleague in the industry, is always willing to guide her whenever she needs help.

“In terms of career, he’s a senior colleague, so sometimes when I’m doing something and I need assistance, I ask him, ‘This thing, I don’t know how to go about it, can you please help me?’ He will help me. Even as a friend, everybody wants to keep such a person in their lives,” she said.

Asked whether everything about their relationship pointed to romance, Lovia dismissed the claim but admitted they would make a great couple.

“If that is it, is it wrong? We actually look good together. People come to me every time and tell me, ‘You guys look good together,’ and he also hears the same. But that’s not the goal,” she said.

Lovia also denied claims that she was using Jeffrey to advance her career.

“He’s too good for me to use him. He helps me in my career, but if he needs me and I also show up for him, will I say he’s using me? In this industry, we help each other. He’s too special for me to use him,” she explained.

When ZionFelix asked whether she had an interest in Jeffrey and if she would accept his proposal should he ask her out, the actress responded without hesitation.

“I like him, why not?” she said.
