Ghanaian rapper Kofi Mole has clapped back at a netizen following a tweet criticising him for releasing his album on the same date as Black Sherif and Kweku Smoke.

On September 4, 2026, rapper Kweku Smoke released his much-anticipated No Days Off album, while Black Sherif also released his six-track EP titled Sun Sherif.

Following the release of the projects, Kofi Mole, who also released his four-track EP, 4 Da Poppin, has since been criticised online.

In a post, a netizen noted that it would have been better for Kofi Mole to release his project on a different date instead of the same day Kweku Smoke and Black Sherif released their projects.

According to the netizen, Kofi Mole’s project is a good one and would have received the recognition it deserves if it had been released on a different date.

“Like Kofi Mole for wait small, ein project be hard, and e no dey get the recognition e dey need, e dey pain me,” he said.

Responding to the netizen, Kofi Mole noted that nothing could have stopped him from sticking to his album’s release date.

According to him, even if Tupac had resurrected from his grave to release an album on the same date, he would’ve still gone ahead with the release.

Kofi Mole maintained that once he makes up his mind, nothing can convince him to change it.

“Once I set my release date, I set am! Make Tupac resurrect then decide to drop an album same day, we go drop together,” Kofi Mole noted.

Meanwhile, Kofi Mole’s EP features songs such as “Balotelli,” “Trapper Sem,” “Asew,” and “Wayedew.”
