King Promise and Chelsea Football Club are set to announce a landmark partnership pairing a brand-new King Promise single with the rollout of Chelsea FC's new home kit across Africa.

The campaign officially launches on Saturday, 5 September 2026, with the Rent Paid Football Exhibition Tournament, a celebrity and creator 7-a-side football event kicking off at 1 PM at McDan Park, Labadi (La Town Park on Google Maps), Accra.

The tournament marks the opening of a wider rollout that will introduce the new single and the Chelsea FC home kit to audiences across the continent, anchored by King Promise's Rent Paid movement and staged in front of a live crowd at McDan Park.

Four teams drawn from Ghana's biggest musicians, media personalities and digital creators will compete across four matches on the day. Team 5Star, captained by King Promise, and Team Dede Ayew, captained by Dede Ayew, will be joined by Team New Media and Team DWP.

Entertainment comes courtesy of award-winning DJs DJ Lord and Maleek DJ. The event will be live-streamed globally on King Promise's YouTube channel, with a behind-the-scenes mini-documentary to follow.

King Promise founded Rent Paid on the belief that people owe it to themselves to “pay rent” to their bodies through exercise, community and culture. Every Rent Paid activation supports the Nungua Orphanage in King Promise's hometown, providing charitable donations and community support to children aged 16 and under.

The tournament and campaign are expected to reach a combined audience of more than 10 million people across YouTube, Instagram, X and TikTok, drawing on King Promise's own 5M+ following as well as the wider roster of talent, creators and media personalities competing on the day.
