Ghanaian gospel musician Ohemaa Mercy has described fellow musician Nacee as the foundation of her music ministry, crediting him with playing a significant role in her musical journey.

Speaking on the GTV Breakfast Show on Monday, August 31, 2026, Ohemaa Mercy said Nacee contributed significantly to the development of her ministry and helped shape some of the songs that have become closely associated with her career.

She mentioned songs such as “Aden Jesus” and “Menwo Da”, which she said formed an important part of her musical journey.

Ohemaa Mercy also spoke about the spiritual inspiration behind her music, saying she believes God communicates with her through the songs she receives and shares with her audience.

She recounted an experience involving Psalm 118, saying she received the assurance that, “You won’t die, you will live to declare the goodness of the Lord.”

According to her, experiences of this nature have strengthened her faith and shaped the messages she communicates through her music.

Her reflections highlight the spiritual and personal experiences that have influenced her ministry, while also acknowledging the contribution of Nacee to her development as a gospel musician.
