Robert Owusu, father of Ghanaian musician Lasmid, has expressed his surprise at his son’s rise in the music industry, admitting he never imagined Lasmid would achieve such success.
In a viral interview, Owusu revealed that he initially expected his older son to pursue music because of his strong singing abilities.
According to him, he was hoping for his other son to venture into music because he was good at singing.
He explained that he was surprised that Lasmid turned out to be the musician in the family.
“Lasmid is my fourth-born. I have five children. His name is Nathaniel Owusu. I have two boys; that is Lasmid and his elder brother.
“…So I thought the older son would be the musician because he was more into music and had a good voice as well,” he said.
