Ghanaian actress and media personality Nana Ama McBrown has expressed admiration for young Ghanaian talent DJ Switch, praising her confidence, achievements and growth since she rose to prominence.

According to McBrown, DJ Switch has made good use of the opportunities that came her way after winning TV3’s Talented Kids and travelling to different parts of the world.

Speaking in an interview sighted by GhanaWeb on August 28, 2026, McBrown said she wished she had a family connection to the young star because of how proud she is of her.

“I wish I were related to DJ Switch because I’m proud of her. I just feel like she’s made good use of her time and she has made it work for her,” she said.

McBrown noted that DJ Switch demonstrated determination from a very young age by pursuing her talent and working towards achieving her goals.

“From that tender age, she fought for something that’s within. She went to the Talented Kids and she won. She’s never been lazy on herself,” she stated.

The actress also credited DJ Switch’s international exposure with helping to build her confidence and communication skills.

“She had the opportunity to travel and that has increased her confidence. The way she speaks, her accent is so lovely and I’m so proud of her,” she shared.

McBrown further revealed that she hopes her daughter, Maxin, will grow up with similar confidence and communication skills.

“I so wish that Maxin will be like that. I can even picture her on CNN, her confidence, and her delivery,” she noted.

The media personality further encouraged DJ Switch to continue on her path and make the most of her opportunities.

“I love her so much and she should keep it up,” she added.
