Eugene Baah, popularly known as Choirmaster, has announced plans to revive his late wife Beverly Afaglo’s entrepreneurial venture by embarking on a cancer-care initiative.
As part of the initiative, GH¢1 from every shawarma sold through Beverly’s “Traffic Shawarma” business will be donated to the Breast Cancer Centre at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
The initiative forms part of efforts by the family to preserve Beverly’s entrepreneurial legacy and ensure that the work she started continues to benefit others.
In an Instagram post announcing the initiative, Choirmaster said the donation will be made from every shawarma purchased.

“And there is an even greater cause behind every bite: GH¢1 from every shawarma purchased will be donated to the Breast Cancer Centre at Korle Bu,” the statement stated.
Explaining the motivation behind the move, the family is committed to building on the vision Beverly invested in and ensuring that her business becomes a lasting legacy.
“A dream she worked hard to build. Now, it is our responsibility to make sure that dream continues, grows and becomes a household name and a lasting legacy,” it stated.
Choirmaster also called on members of the entertainment industry, media personalities, friends, family and the general public to support the initiative by patronising the business and helping to promote the cause.
According to him, every purchase will not only contribute to keeping Beverly’s dream alive but will also provide support to people receiving cancer care.
Beverly Afaglo launched her Traffic Shawarma Franchise business on April 5, 2024, as part of her entrepreneurial pursuits.
The business is set to resume operations at locations including Madina, Odorkor, Dansoman, Kasoa and Achimota.
Beverly Afaglo, who was also a television presenter and actress, passed away on May 24, 2026, aged 42, after battling cancer.
Her final funeral rites and burial service were held at the forecourt of the State House in Accra on August 8, 2026.
