Ghanaian rapper D-Cryme has revealed that marriage is currently not among his top priorities, stressing that he has never set a specific age or timeline for when he intends to settle down.

Speaking in an interview on Neat FM, the rapper, born Darlington Kwasi Agyekum, acknowledged that marriage remains a possibility as life unfolds, noting that people cannot always predict the order in which major events will happen.

According to D-Cryme, while he does not rule out getting married in the future, his focus at the moment lies elsewhere.

He explained that priorities can change with time and that he would consider marriage when he feels ready for it.

“As long as we have life, a lot of things can happen along the way, and some things may happen before others. In terms of my priorities right now, marriage is not at the top of the list. However, as humans, anything is possible, so it is possible that I could get married,” he said.

The rapper has established himself as one of the notable figures in Ghana’s hip-hop and hiplife scene and is widely credited as a pioneer of the “Twipop” sound, a fusion of Twi-language rap with contemporary rap, highlife and hiplife influences.

Born in Tema on July 20, 1986, D-Cryme first gained attention after participating in the popular rap competition Kasahare Level on Adom FM.

He is best known for his breakout smash hit "Kill Me Shy" (recorded around 2008 and becoming a massive hit by 2010), alongside other popular tracks like "Koko Sakora," "Me Ne Woaa," and "Command".

Beyond music, D-Cryme has also ventured into television, brand ambassadorship and business, including his role as CEO of Twipop Recordz.
