Juliana Bubune Titiati-Tsikata, a former contestant of Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB), has died.

Bubune represented the Volta Region in the 2013 edition of the beauty pageant, where she finished as the first runner-up.

She was widely praised during the competition for her intelligence, composure and elegance.

She is reported to have died after battling cancer.

In a statement announcing her death, the family described her passing as a devastating loss to them, her loved ones and the many people whose lives she touched.

“Her departure is a deeply painful loss to the family, loved ones, and all whose lives she touched. During this difficult time, we ask that you keep the family in your thoughts and prayers as we mourn her passing and cherish the memories of her life,” the statement said.

The family has appealed to the public for prayers and support as they mourn Bubune and reflect on the memories she left behind.

Information on her funeral arrangements and other related details will be announced by the family in due course.

“Further details regarding the funeral and related arrangements will be communicated in due course,” the statement added.
