Veteran Kumawood actor Alexander Kofi Adu, popularly known as Agya Koo, has revealed that he has overturned his decision to quit acting and is set to return to the screen.
Speaking in an interview with Kumasi-based blog Seancity TV, Agya Koo confirmed that he is already back on set working on new projects.
The celebrated Ghanaian movie icon disclosed that although he had initially planned to retire from the film industry, a change of heart has reignited his passion to continue delivering memorable performances for his fans.
"I initially wanted to retire from acting, but I reconsidered. Right now I am shooting a movie, and the movie will soon be out. You will see strong performances from me," the veteran actor stated.

He further assured lovers of Ghanaian cinema to expect a full-scale comeback filled with the signature comic relief and energetic acting that defined his career.
"So I am back, more movies are coming, you will see me live and coloured," he added.
Agya Koo’s return comes as a welcome boost to the local film industry, where he remains widely regarded as one of the key figures who spearheaded the commercial boom of Kumawood movies in the 2000s.
