Fashion entrepreneur and close associate of the Kantanka family, Richard Brown, popularly known as Osebo the Zaraman, has expressed confidence that Kwadwo Safo Akofena and his sister, Sarah Adwoa Safo, will reconcile, saying Ghanaians will soon be surprised by developments within the family.

Speaking in an interview with GhanaWeb’s Elsie Lamar on Talkertainment, Osebo said he believes the misunderstanding between the children of the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka is only temporary.

He compared their relationship to politicians who may disagree publicly but still maintain mutual respect behind the scenes.

“There’s one thing many people don’t know: the devil doesn’t separate enemies but loved ones. Satan always tries to bring misunderstanding between loved ones. Teeth and the tongue fight all the time, but they both work together to supply food to the stomach. Don’t worry, very soon you people will be surprised,” he stated.

Osebo dismissed suggestions that he had aligned himself with one side of the family, insisting there were no opposing camps despite public perception.

“There’s no this camp and this camp. We are all in one camp. It’s just a misunderstanding. They are all from one father,” he said.

When asked why he was often seen with Adwoa Safo and not Akofena, Osebo replied that social media had created a misleading impression.

“That is what you’ve been seeing on social media,” he said, adding that he and Akofena remain close.

“We were like twins. When this thing came, I sent him a message.”

Osebo also addressed the controversy surrounding his earlier comments about the succession of the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka. He said he was not embarrassed when he later clarified that Akofena was the founder’s rightful successor.

“Not at all. Right after I sent him a message. Congratulations. I don’t hate him. He knows I love him. It takes a good friend to tell you when you are doing something that isn’t right. But people don’t like the truth, so I leave it the way it is,” he said.
