Nigerian actress Tonto Dikeh has announced the launch of New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle (NWPT), describing it as an interdenominational altar, spiritual home and global movement for believers seeking a deeper relationship with God.

The actress made the announcement in an Instagram post, explaining that NWPT is inspired by the biblical passage in Mark 2:22, which states, “And no one puts new wine into old wineskins…”

According to Tonto Dikeh, the gathering is intended to be “a dwelling place of His presence” for people who reject what she described as lukewarm Christianity and desire genuine revival, spiritual transformation and the power of God.

She outlined the movement’s vision as fostering “a global awakening of consecrated believers operating in the raw power, purity, and presence of God,” with the aim of transforming nations and advancing Christ’s Kingdom on earth.

The mission of NWPT, she added, is to build an interdenominational altar centred on prayer, revival and apostolic training that equips watchmen, activates spiritual gifts, promotes soul-winning and brings freedom to those in spiritual bondage through the Holy Spirit.

Emphasising the identity of the movement, Tonto Dikeh clarified that NWPT is not a church but “an intense gathering of those consecrated and equipped for the purposes of God,” describing it as a community of believers set apart, refined by God’s presence and commissioned to advance His Kingdom.
