Ghanaian musician Eugene Baah, popularly known as Choirmaster, struggled to hold back his tears as he filed past the mortal remains of his late wife, actress Beverly Afaglo, during her final funeral rites ongoing at the Forecourt of the State House in Accra on Saturday, August 8, 2026.

The deeply emotional moment saw Choirmaster, together with his two daughters, approach the casket to pay their final respects to the actress and mother.

Overwhelmed with emotions, the musician broke down in tears as the reality of losing his wife appeared to sink in, creating one of the most heartbreaking moments of the funeral.

Beverly Afaglo, who died on May 24, 2026, at the age of 42, left behind her husband and two children. Her death came just four days before her 43rd birthday.

Her husband announced her passing in an emotional tribute, describing Beverly as his “strength” and “happiness.”

The actress, who had a career spanning more than two decades, was remembered for her roles in movies including, 'Return of Beyonce', 'Crime to Christ ', ' Girls Connection ', ' Never Again ', and 'Single Six '.

Her thanksgiving service is scheduled for Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Action Chapel International.
