Oseikrom Sikanii has responded to recent shots fired at him by his colleague Beeztrap KOTM, reigniting what appears to be a brewing rivalry in Ghana’s rap scene.

In a video shared on social media, Oseikrom argued that he played a crucial role in Beeztrap’s rise to fame and advised the award-winning rapper to remain humble despite his growing success.

“In this life, no matter what, never bite the hand that feeds you,” Oseikrom said, insisting he was one of the first artistes to recognise and support Beeztrap’s talent.

According to Oseikrom Sikanii, his support for Beeztrap extended far beyond their collaboration on ‘Fly Girl’.

He claimed he invested in Beeztrap’s career behind the scenes by paying for apartments used during music video shoots and creating opportunities for him at a time when he was relatively unknown.

He further argued that “Fly Girl” became the breakthrough record that introduced Beeztrap to a wider audience.

However, Oseikrom alleged that after the song became successful, the billing on the track was changed from “Oseikrom Sikanii ft. Beeztrap” to “Beeztrap ft. Oseikrom Sikanii.”

Despite that, he said he chose not to make an issue out of it because he genuinely wanted Beeztrap to succeed.

“I put you on. I showed you love. I booked an apartment, and we shot a music video. When you first released the song, it was ‘Oseikrom Sikanii ft. Beeztrap,’ but after it became a hit, you changed it to ‘Beeztrap ft. Oseikrom Sikanii.’ I never cared because I wanted you to eat as well,” he stated.

TGMA 2025: Beeztrap wins Best New Artiste of the Year

Oseikrom also cautioned Beeztrap against letting his recent achievements inflate his ego, reminding him that his journey to the top is still ongoing.

“Calm down. You’re still climbing the ladder of success. Pay homage to those above you and those showing you the way into the mainstream industry,” he stated.

The latest exchange follows comments Oseikrom made during a recent interview in which he described himself as a certified hitmaker.

He argued that any artiste seeking a hit song only needed to collaborate with him and pointed to Beeztrap as the biggest example of his impact.

Oseikrom further claimed that he “opened the gate” for Beeztrap, insisting the rapper’s career took off after Fly Girl.

He also suggested that his contribution played a key role in laying the foundation for Beeztrap’s TGMA New Artiste of the Year win in May 2025.

Following those remarks, Beeztrap fired back with a diss track titled “Gansta,” released in August 2026.

In the song, he took aim at Oseikrom Sikanii, accusing him of living off past achievements and urging him to move on and achieve more, while also telling him to “shut up.”
