American rapper ASAP Rocky has opened up about his relationship with global music icon Rihanna, stating that her immense wealth and success have never made him feel insecure.

Speaking on the BET Digital podcast, ASAP dismissed the notion that a partner’s financial success should affect a man’s confidence, stressing that he is proud of everything Rihanna has achieved on her own.

“My woman got billions. I got multi-millions. There’s nothing that her success has to do with mine,” he said.

ASAP explained that while he has built a successful career for himself, Rihanna’s accomplishments are entirely her own and deserve to be celebrated.

“I’ve done what I’ve done for myself and I’m proud of what I did for myself. There’s nothing that another n** can say to me, especially with less money or less anything, to make me feel insecure or less proud about my woman being successful,” he stated.

The rapper questioned why anyone would view a partner’s success as a threat, adding that he takes pride in Rihanna’s achievements.

“The f*** sense do that make? What part of the game is that? I’m proud of that woman. She did that. That ain’t got nothing to do with me,” he added.

During the interview, ASAP was also asked about a previous disclaimer he made before performing a song, where he joked that if he were not in a relationship, he would sleep with everyone at the concert.

Responding to the question, he clarified that the remark was simply an introduction to the song and not a serious statement.

“No, that was me prefacing the song,” ASAP replied.

ASAP and Rihanna, who share three children, have been one of the entertainment industry’s most talked-about couples, with both stars frequently expressing admiration and support for each other’s careers.
