Ghanaian musician Choirmaster was overwhelmed with grief upon arriving at the Accra International Airport from the United States ahead of the final funeral rites of his late wife, Beverly Afaglo.
In a video shared on social media on July 28, 2026, Choirmaster was met at the airport by his longtime friend and music colleague, Praye Tiatia, as well as rapper Dr Cryme and other personalities from the entertainment industry who had gathered to welcome and support him during the difficult period.
The emotional moment captured the profound grief the musician continues to endure following the passing of his wife, while also highlighting the solidarity shown by his colleagues in the music industry.
