TikToker Adwoa Pretty publicly apologised to her husband, Doctor Drill, on The Delay Show, kneeling before him and asking for forgiveness over remarks she made in a leaked audio recording.

The emotional moment came after Doctor Drill defended his wife over the leaked recording, insisting that although he was hurt by the insults directed at him, he believed they were made out of anger and did not reflect how she truly felt about him.

Kneeling before her husband during the interview, Adwoa Pretty admitted she had erred and pleaded for forgiveness.

"I messed up. Forgive me. It'll never happen again," she said.

Doctor Drill accepted the apology, having earlier maintained that he had forgiven his wife despite the controversy surrounding the leaked recording, which captured her insulting him during what she believed was a private conversation with her then best friend, Abena Payola.

Host Deloris Frimpong Manso, popularly known as Delay, used the opportunity to advise Adwoa Pretty to cherish her marriage, describing Doctor Drill as a supportive husband and cautioning her against allowing social media and outside influences to destroy their relationship.

"Never repeat that, Adwoa. It's difficult to come by a good man and a good marriage. Hold him well. Don't let your friends mess up your marriage. You have a good man a man who has built a house for you and supports your business. You can't choose TikTok over your marriage, so please keep him and keep him well. And tone down," Delay advised.

The apology follows weeks of public exchanges stemming from the fallout between Adwoa Pretty and her former close friend, Abena Payola. Adwoa Pretty has alleged that Abena Payola secretly recorded several of their private conversations and later played the recordings on TikTok after their friendship broke down.

In one of the leaked recordings, Adwoa Pretty was heard directing harsh remarks at Doctor Drill while venting over an incident involving a female TikTok follower he had invited to a funeral. Doctor Drill has since said he understood his wife spoke out of anger and insisted the remarks did not define their marriage.
