Ghanaian fashion icon, Osebo the Zaraman, has apologised to Bishop Daniel Obinim over a promotional video he recorded with the preacher’s wife.

Speaking on Hitz FM on July 13, 2026, Osebo said he never intended to disrespect Bishop Obinim or create tension through the video.

“If my friend Daniel Obinim feels it was wrong for me to do a video with his wife, I’m sorry. Whatever I did for her was for a clean heart,” Osebo stated.

Osebo said he cherishes his relationship with Obinim and felt it was important to apologise if his actions had been misunderstood.

He further pointed out that Florence Obinim was not the only gospel musician he had supported by recording promotional videos, noting that he had done the same for other artistes.

“I have done videos for Piesie Esther and Grace Asley; I did it out of love; it was not meant to bring confusion between them,” he noted.

Osebo's apology follows comments made by Bishop Obinim during a church service, where he expressed disappointment that Florence Obinim had chosen to film a promotional video with Osebo despite knowing they are not on good terms.

Florence Obinim later responded, explaining that she had no ill intentions and had simply sought Osebo’s support to help promote her music.

Despite the controversy, Osebo maintained his admiration for Florence Obinim, praising her personality and the meaningful messages in her songs.
