Guru takes the controversy to the Church in new video ‘Mmaa Kuo’

His introduction into the mainstream music was nothing short of controversial, when he scored a hit with Obrafour on the song, ‘Kasiebo’. Since then, Guru hasn’t disappointed music fans both in terms of his lyrical prowess and his bold and often contentious music. His recently released music video, ‘Mmaa Kuo’ tells the story of ladies who go to church and later end up at night clubs.

Simplistic? Well, not quiet! You would have to listen to the lyrics of the Empire Entertainment signed artist to get the full import of his message. According to the rapper, women’s group in churches, traditionally known as ‘MMAA KUO’, which signifies cleanliness among ladies in churches is now taken for a joke.

The video, shot by STIP for Solid Multi Media can be seen on television nationwide and on the web. Check it out!
