Gospel musician Noble Nketsiah has shared a past experience in which he says he was pressured to abandon his Christian faith and join a cult in exchange for success in his music career.
In an interview with Nana Romeo on Okay FM, the gospel artiste explained that the incident happened in 2006, shortly after he left his record label and started working independently.
He noted that at the time he was trying to build his career, three men approached him, praising his talent and offering to support his ministry.
According to him, the men insisted he was too gifted to remain on the local scene and needed a bigger platform.
“They told me I was too gifted to remain local and that they could help me take my ministry to the international level. They admonished me to join their altar which will propel me into greatness. They promised me wealth, travel, fame, widespread recognition and a very fulfilling life,” he recalled.

Noble Nketsiah said he grew suspicious and later looked into their proposal, only to realise they intended to initiate him into a cult.
“I immediately turned it down because I have faith in God. God is my helper, not any altar,” he said.
He added that after rejecting the offer, he faced a difficult period in his life, with setbacks in finances and career opportunities.
“Afterwards, things went worse; no money, no connection, nothing. People who had promised me started disappointing, friends deserted me, everything I touched turned worse. I saw it as the plans of the devil to frustrate me. About six months later they called to taunt me how I am faring after rejecting their juicy deal, but I still wasn’t pushed because I was content with what I had in life,” he noted.
He further recounted that a major shift came during a trip to Spain, where he attended church and received a prophecy assuring him that God would lift him up at the right time.
That moment, he said, renewed his faith and strengthened his decision to fully trust God’s timing.
Looking back on the experience years later, Noble Nketsiah maintains that turning down the offer was the best decision he ever made.
