Nigerian Afrobeats singer Magixx has shared a humorous story about a time he unknowingly took a fan’s girlfriend to the club after a performance in Zambia.

Speaking in a recent interview, the singer recalled that the incident happened after one of his shows in Zambia. According to him, after the performance, he and his friends decided to continue the night at a club when a female fan approached them and asked to join their group, which he allowed.

“There’s somebody in the crowd, and then the person came with his girlfriend, so the girlfriend wanted to follow us to the club. This was back in Zambia,” he recounted.

Magixx explained that at the time, he had no idea the woman attended the event with her boyfriend and was completely unaware of any romantic relationship between them.

“Whatever the relationship was, I didn’t know. I didn’t know there was a boyfriend, I never knew anything was happening,” he clarified.

The singer said things took an unexpected turn when, on their way to the club, they noticed a vehicle seemingly chasing them. Initially, neither he nor his team understood why they were being followed.

It was only after arriving at the venue that he discovered the person pursuing them was the woman’s boyfriend, who had attended the concert with her.

Upon learning the truth, Magixx said he immediately told the woman to go home and return to her partner out of respect.

“The girlfriend wanted to come to the club, and she was in the club with us. When I found out, I sha told her to go,” he said.

The singer’s lighthearted recounting of the incident has since sparked laughter among fans online.
