Gospel musician and media personality, Empress Gifty, has made a startling claim regarding the reported breakdown of actor Harold Amenyah’s marriage.

According to a report by Daily Guide, sighted by GhanaWeb on June 3, 2026, the singer, during a live TikTok session, alleged that the actor’s marriage ended due to social media bullying.

Empress Gifty explained that some netizens took to social media to criticise Harold Amenyah’s wife, Irene Boakye, describing her as “not beautiful” and lacking social status.

She further claimed that the marriage ended on a difficult note due to comments from some online users who suggested that Irene lacked class and had married the actor to gain access to a luxurious lifestyle.

“Everyone, this guy got married, and from day one, people said the lady was not beautiful. Now, I don’t know, but the marriage is no more,” she alleged.
