Ghanaian stand-up comedian DKB has taken to Instagram to heap praise on National Democratic Congress General Secretary Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, volunteering to be his campaign manager should the politician ever make a run for vice president.
In what served as both a message of gratitude and a birthday message, the comedian noted that Kwetey turned up to his annual comedy show at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel on January 3, 2026, and stayed for the entire night.
"Please help me thank Honourable Fiifi Kwetey for making time to attend my annual comedy show on time and sitting for more than three hours, and making sure he enjoyed every single comedian we had billed for the night," DKB said.
DKB noted that for a man of Kwetey's standing and workload, choosing to sit through an entire show rather than make a brief appearance and leave spoke volumes about his character and his commitment to the youth.
"I don't know how much more supportive you'd want somebody to be. Somebody in power with so much work to do. He left the work to come and give us support," he said.
DKB pointed out that the gesture was special, especially as most government officials are too preoccupied for such engagements.
He further took a jab at the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), which he noted would have enough time to stay.
"You don't get this with the ruling government. Because there's a lot to do. Unlike the opposition. Then they can sit through the show for seven hours. Where are they going? 38%. Where are they going?" he jabbed.
DKB, who serves as a leading voice in the Ghana Comedy Society, used the moment to express his support for Kwetey should he decide to aspire to the vice-presidential seat.
"If he ever wants to go for vice president, I'm voting for him. Because he will be the most youthful supportive vice president. Somebody who can sit through a show to give all the comedians morale, that's somebody who thinks about the youth. Your number one campaign manager," DKB declared.
