Amid the ongoing backlash against outspoken Ghanaian cleric Prophet Eric Boahen Uche following his predictions about the recently concluded UEFA Champions League final between Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain, the prophet has responded to critics.

In a video shared on social media and sighted by GhanaWeb on June 2, 2026, Prophet Uche challenged critics to revisit and verify his previous prophecies.

He said his prophecies have consistently come to pass, dismissing claims that he is a false prophet.

“When we prophesy, listen carefully to what is being said. Some of you are talking nonsense. I dare you to go and track all my prophecies. Everything I have said has come to pass. Check them, and you will see who a true prophet is,” he said.

Prophet Uche also used the opportunity to make another prediction, claiming he foresees Spain emerging as the winners of the next FIFA World Cup.

“I have already told you that Spain will win the World Cup. I will even give score predictions for every match. When I am on the pulpit, I am not the Uche you know,” he stated.

His comments come in the wake of criticism of his recent prophecies, particularly those concerning football matches and celebrity deaths.
