When it comes to culinary content and showcasing Ghanaian and African dishes to the world, one name that stands out from the continent is Abena Amoakoa Sintim-Aboagye, popularly known as Chef Abbys.

The food content creator has made a request she hopes will one day be honoured in her career as a culinary creator.

In a post on X on May 30, 2026, Chef Abbys expressed her desire to cook with the President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, noting that such an encounter over a meal could be used to explore the future of Ghanaian food and culture and how it can be projected to the world.

“Sir JDMahama, I would be deeply honoured to cook with you someday. Over a meal, I’d love for us to explore the future of Ghanaian food, culture and how we can showcase our cuisine to the world. Thank you,” she wrote.
