YOLO TV series actor John Bredu Peasah, popularly known as Drogba, who has been battling Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS) for a couple of years, has mentioned a colleague actress as one person who has not visited him since he fell ill.
Drogba, who played one of the fan-favourite roles in the series alongside actress Fella Makafui, known as Serwaa in the show, disclosed that the actress has not personally reached out to him since his illness. He made the disclosure in an interview with Sammy Kay Media aired on May 29, 2026.
According to him, during the early stages of his illness, Fella Makafui reached out to Jeffery Nortey to enquire about his condition instead of contacting him directly.
He noted that Jeffery was surprised because he believed Fella Makafui already had his (Drogba's) personal contact.
“Fella Makafui hasn’t reached out. When the thing came, she reached out to Jeffery Nortey. She has my number, so Jeffery Nortey was surprised. Later, she reached out to me with a different number and asked me when I was free. I told her I am always free, and since then, I haven’t heard from her,” Drogba stated.
Drogba further disclosed that he had also reached out to other colleagues in the movie industry, including Salma Mumin, Kisa Gbekle, and John Dumelo, among others, but they have not yet extended any assistance to him.

“They shouldn't wait for something to happen to me before they come and say sweet words, and the sweet words wouldn't bring me back,” were the words of Drogba as he called on his colleagues within the creative industry to show him love and support.
He explained that he was not speaking out of entitlement, as he understands that everyone may be dealing with their own challenges, but was merely appealing to them to come to his aid.
Drogba also mentioned Adjetey Annan and Jackie Appiah and expressed appreciation to them, stating that they supported him when he first began experiencing symptoms of the illness.
“Adjetey Annan and Jackie Appiah, when the thing was first starting, actually contributed to helping me do the tests, lab work, and all that,” he added.
