Nigerian rapper Ice Prince has opened up about one of the biggest financial mistakes of his career, revealing that purchasing a Bentley caused tension between him and some of his closest friends.

Speaking during a recent interview, the rapper admitted that buying the luxury vehicle at the time was not the wisest decision, especially because he was still living in a rented apartment.

“One of the worst mistakes I ever made… I go buy Bentley. I mess up oh,” Ice Prince confessed.

According to the musician, the expensive purchase did not sit well with some people around him, including Nigerian rapper Naeto C and politician Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo.

“Naeto C was one of the people that hated that Bentley so much. He called me once face-to-face and told me how angry he was. Dankwambo actually stopped talking to me because of that Bentley,” he revealed.

Ice Prince explained that the decision to buy the luxury car created misunderstandings among some of his friends, many of whom felt he made the purchase at the wrong stage of his life.

The revelation has sparked conversations on social media, with many fans praising the rapper for being honest about the financial lessons he has learned throughout his career.
