Media personality DJ Slim has lambasted actor and filmmaker Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as LilWin, for allegedly trying to downplay the success and organisation of fellow actor Dr Likee’s O2 Indigo show.

DJ Slim’s reaction came after LilWin alleged that Dr Likee’s headline comedy event at the O2 Indigo in London, which took place on May 22, 2026, was not funded by himself.

According to LilWin, he knows the individual who financed the event.

However, reacting to LilWin’s comments on the “Street Is Watching” show on May 26, 2026, DJ Slim advised Dr Likee not to pay attention to what LilWin’s rants.

He insisted that LilWin was merely attempting to downplay Dr Likee’s success.

Slim then applauded Likee for filling the O2 Indigo Arena and described him as the fourth African to fill the venue outside the continent.

He also challenged LilWin to fill the venue himself if he believes he still has influence in the entertainment industry.

According to DJ Slim, Kwadwo Nkansah would even struggle to fill Prempeh College Assembly Hall in Kumasi if he decides to host a comedy special there.

“I am daring Kwadwo Nkansah, if he feels he is on his high horse…Even filling Prempeh Assembly Hall in Kumasi for a comedy special event would be difficult for him. He has lost it,” DJ Slim said.

DJ Slim further emphasized that even if claims were true that another person financed Dr Likee’s O2 Indigo show, the investor would have conducted thorough checks and realized that audiences preferred Dr Likee to headline the event rather than LilWin.

Actor Papa Kumasi, who was with Dr Likee at the event, has also dismissed claims that the UK show was funded by external financiers.

He insisted that Dr Likee personally made major sacrifices to ensure the event came off successfully, including selling his personal car.

Ghana’s creative arts industry stepped onto the global stage as “Dr Likee Live” made its international debut at Indigo at The O2 on May 22, 2026.

The event featured compelling stage drama performances from Nana Ama McBrown, Emelia Brobbey, Akrobeto and others, alongside musical performances from Okenneth, Stonebwoy and others.

Dr Likee also delivered a stand-up comedy performance that gave attendees a memorable theatrical experience.
