The family of acclaimed Ghanaian actress Beverly Ama Afaglo has officially confirmed her passing and announced details of her one-week observation.
This was made known through a formal statement released by her management and production company, Cine-God Studios, on May 24, 2026.
According to the statement, Beverly passed away peacefully in the early hours of Sunday, May 24, 2026, at the International Maritime Hospital in Tema, following a long battle with cancer.
The one-week observation details, as announced in the official statement, are as follows:

Date: Saturday, May 30, 2026
Time: 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
“The family respectfully requests prayers, support and privacy as they mourn this painful loss and make arrangements for her final rites.

The actress, who was just four days shy of her 43rd birthday, had been one of the most beloved figures in Ghanaian film and television, known for her roles in productions including Sidechic Gang, Single Six, A Northern Affair, Never Again and Girls Connection, among others.
She is survived by her husband and two daughters.
