Award-winning Ghanaian music group, Keche, have opened up about how they manage misunderstandings while maintaining their successful music career and brand.
Speaking in an interview on Joy Prime following their win as Best Group of the Year at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards, they revealed that although they occasionally fall out with each other, they always prioritise the Keche brand above personal differences.
According to the duo, they are both human and naturally have flaws, which sometimes leads to disagreements and periods where they stop speaking to each other entirely.

However, they explained that over the years, they have come to understand that the brand they have built together is bigger than any misunderstandings between them.
“Keche is bigger than Andrew and I,” Joshua stated during the interview.
They disclosed that there was a point when they went an entire month without speaking to each other due to a misunderstanding.
Despite the silence between them, they still honored their performance commitments and appeared on stage together during that period.
“We’ve stayed for like a month without talking, but within that month, we went on shows. We will perform on stage wearing our dark shades, we will do everything, and when we are done, we will get into our cars and go our separate ways,” Andrew said
The group explained that even while not on talking terms, they were still able to perform seamlessly and maintain strong synchronization on stage because of years of experience and professionalism.
According to them, their ability to separate personal issues from work has helped sustain both their friendship and career over the years.
They added that whenever there is a scheduled performance, they put their differences aside and focus on delivering for their fans, noting that the success and longevity of the Keche brand remain their top priority.
