CEO of Ruff Town Records, Bullet, has opened up about the music royalties of late Ghanaian musician Ebony Reigns.

He also talked about his relationship with Ebony’s father.

Speaking in a recent interview on Okay FM with Nana Romeo, Bullet revealed that he recently sent $100,000 to Ebony’s father, explaining that the amount represented 50% of the late singer’s royalties.

According to him, the original agreement entitled Ebony to 20% of the royalties. However, he claimed that Ebony’s father bullied him into increasing the share to 50%.

Bullet also alleged that Ebony’s father had, on several occasions, demanded money from him, including funds that were intended to support the promotion and campaign for Ebony’s first concert.

Despite this, the Ruff Town Records boss said he chose to remain silent and continued doing his part of the deal.

“I gave Ebony’s father $100,000 recently, which is 50% of Ebony’s royalties. Ebony only had 20% in those shares, but her father bullied me into making it 50%.

“After the first-ever Ebony party, he insisted I give him his daughter’s money. The money was meant to promote and campaign for Ebony’s work, but I went with him to the bank and withdrew it for him. He doesn’t talk about it anywhere,” Bullet stated during the interview.

Bullet said Ebony’s father frequently criticizes him publicly while failing to acknowledge the support and financial assistance he has provided over the years.
