Evangelist Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Agradaa, has revealed that her preaching has improved significantly, stating that she can now accurately support her sermons with Bible verses, unlike in the early days of her ministry.
Speaking during a discussion on Onua Show Time, which was posted on May 13, 2026, Agradaa mentioned that social media often focuses on the humorous moments in her church services while ignoring the substance of her sermons.
According to her, she can preach for an hour, but online platforms rarely highlight the teachings.
Instead, they tend to share only the parts where she cracks jokes to make her congregation laugh.
“How I used to preach from the beginning is how I preach now. Social media only promotes negativity. I can preach for an hour, but they would never promote the sermon.
“After preaching and I’m trying to crack jokes to make the church fun and make our members laugh, they would only capture that part and post online. They get the jokes and promote negativity more than the word of God,” she said.

Agradaa explained that many people believe her preaching has changed because she has stopped fooling and reduced the jokes during services.
“The reason why it has changed is that I’ve stopped fooling and cracking jokes. When you come to my church now, whether you like it or not, you will leave with only positive things,” she stated.
She also disclosed that she spent eight months seeking spiritual direction from God and told Him that even if she lost all her money and assets, having His word would be enough.
“The second thing is, I tried to get a spiritual direction for eight months and I told God that, before I leave where I am now, even if I lose all my money and my whole assets and I have His word, then I have everything. God listened to me,” she shared.
According to Agradaa, she could preach in the past but was unable to back her messages with specific Bible references.
“At first, I could preach, but I support my messages with Bible verses. Now, by the grace of God, if I’m asked to back what I preach with scripture, the spirit of God gives me the knowledge,” she added.
