Ghanaian rapper Amerado has expressed his frustration over being left out of the Best Rap Performance category at the 2026 Telecel Ghana Music Awards through a newly released rap track.

In the emotionally charged song, the rapper expressed disappointment over what he described as the constant disregard for his talent and versatility in the Ghanaian music industry.

According to him, his ability to both rap and sing has not been fully appreciated, adding that multi-talented artistes are often overlooked in the country.

Amerado Burner reflected on his musical journey, recalling how he was at the peak of his career in 2020 when he collaborated with notable artistes such as Lasmid and Black Sherif.

Despite the momentum he had at the time, he claimed people still doubted his future and told him he would never truly make it unless he travelled outside Ghana.

The rapper stated that although he endured criticism, insults, and backlash over the years, he remained focused on his craft and continued pushing forward. However, he believes his efforts and consistency have still not earned him the recognition he deserves.

In his newly released track, Amerado shared his disappointment over Medikal missing out on the coveted Artiste of the Year award at this year’s TGMA ceremony.

Despite his frustrations, he maintained that “it is all good.”

Ending the track on a confident note, the rapper declared that he is determined to bounce back stronger next year.

He boldly stated that he is coming for the Best Rap Performance award in 2027, a category won this year by Strongman.
