Ghanaian actress Nikki Samonas has revealed that having children is currently not a top priority in her life.
Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo on Okay FM on April 29, 2026, the actress explained that while she is open to motherhood, she is not in a rush to have a child.
“Giving birth is not really a priority to me. When it comes, I’m good and when it doesn’t, I’m okay,” she said.
Nikki Samonas noted that she is very cautious in her relationships due to her high fertility, which she says runs in her family.
“I’m very fertile, so I’m very careful. All the women in my family are all fertile, so the slightest mistake we make, we would be pregnant. Because of that, I’m very careful about who I get involved with,” she stated.

Despite being 40 years old, the actress disclosed that she has never been pregnant and is intentional about who she chooses to have a child with.
“As for having a child, I will, but not now. I’m 40, but I’ve never been pregnant before. I have to be very sure the person I will give birth with will not abandon us,” she shared.
She further indicated that she relies on contraceptives and other methods to manage her reproductive health.
“Contraceptives have never failed me and I have herbs I use too, so I’m much grounded. The herbs alone can solve my problems,” she added.
