Kumasi-based rapper Cyril Fuego has turned heads with the release of his debut album 'Fishes & Snails,' a nine-track project that is already generating serious buzz across the Kumerica music scene.

The artiste, one of the most promising faces of the Kumerica movement! has been making waves in Ghana and his latest album is a testatment of his impact in the country.

His debut album was launched at SG Mall in Kumasi, where a business mogul purchased the first physical copy for a whooping $5,000, a statement of confidence in the young artiste's work that set the tone for what the project represents.

'Fishes & Snails' is largely produced by Khendibeatz, the TGMA Producer of the Year, with additional production from Tubhani Muzik and Apya. All nine tracks were written by Cyril himself. The project features Strongman on the closing track, "Peace of Mind."

Two songs are leading the album's early momentum, "Yokozuna," a hip-hop cut, and "Philomena," an afrobeats record produced by Apya, both drawing strong responses from listeners online and on the streets.

Beyond the music, Cyril has carved out a recognisable identity with his bleached hair and vintage style, an aesthetic that fits squarely within the visual language of the Kumerica movement.

He recently performed at Ashantifest, organised by the Ashanti Regional Minister, adding a significant stage credit to his young career.
