Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy has landed himself in hot water after allegedly attacking DJ Tunez, Wizkid's personal DJ, at a party in Lagos, Nigeria.

The incident occurred at Obi's House, a popular Lagos venue, where DJ Tunez was performing while Burna Boy was in attendance.

What began as a fun night out quickly turned violent, with videos of the brawl circulating widely on social media and racking up hundreds of thousands of views.

While the exact trigger for the altercation remains unconfirmed, some reports suggest it may have stemmed from Tunez choosing to play Wizkid's music over Burna Boy's during the set.

Reports say that Burna Boy had sent someone to ask DJ Tunez to play his music, to which Tunez refused.

In a video circulating on social media, Burna Boy can be seen confronting Tunez before the fight broke out.

In one of the clips, Tunez appears to be on the floor unconscious while being repeatedly kicked.

DJ Tunez took to social media to share his account of the events, writing, "This N***a Burna Boy, all signs of weakness. First off, you hit me in the back of my head without me looking, that's some sucka s**t, my boy. 1 vs 10, and I stood my ground."

Wizkid, who rarely speaks publicly, also condemned the attack, writing, "P***y n***a Jump a dj with 10man carry."

Adding fuel to the fire, Burna Boy was later filmed dancing in a towel on a friend's Snapchat story to DJ Tunez's song Money Constant, a move widely interpreted as a taunt directed at the DJ.

Burna Boy, 34, and Wizkid, 38, were once on good terms, but tensions between them have reportedly grown in recent years, fueled largely by the intense competition between two of Nigeria's biggest music exports.
