Just when many believed the controversies surrounding Daddy Lumba's death had subsided, his younger sister has spoken out.
In a video shared on TikTok and sighted by GhanaWeb on April 2, 2026, Faustina Fosu stated that it was the late highlife legend’s wish to be buried at his residence in East Legon.
According to Faustina, she disagrees with claims that her late brother’s remains should be exhumed, stressing that she wants no complications regarding his death.
'Daddy Lumba was buried at his East Legon residence' - Abusuapanyin Kofi Owusu confirms
“It was my brother’s wish to be buried there. I don’t want any issues concerning a dead person, so if he made that request and it has been honoured, I see no reason why anyone should go and dig up his body.
“I don’t know what might happen if we exhume his remains. So, I would suggest that if he has a resting place, we should allow him to rest in peace,” she said.
Faustina clarified, however, that although she holds this view, she did not personally see Daddy Lumba’s will instructing that he be buried at his residence.

She explained that the family was informed by the musician’s lawyers that it was part of his final wishes.
“I heard that he wanted to be buried at his residence. His lawyers were the ones who told us, but I did not witness them reading the will,” she added.
