Supporters of Daddy Lumba's legally married wife, Akosua Serwaa Fosu, have made a show of appreciation by donating a sum of GH¢130,000 to her for being a role model to society.

In a video making rounds on social media and shared on Instagram, the Team Legal Wives Group alongside His Royal, Ashanti Queen, and Lion Nation groups presented the donation to Akosua Serwaa’s representative in the form of a cheque on March 30, 2026.

The gesture was described as a token of appreciation for Akosua Serwaa's conduct in the wake of the late Daddy Lumba's passing, with the groups citing her as a role model to thousands of people across the world.

"We said there is no way we cannot celebrate our mother without showing something. So we came up with GH¢130,000. We thank you and we will forever love you," a representative of the groups said during the presentation.

Receiving the donation on behalf of Akosua Serwaa was media personality and former beauty queen Adwoa Saah, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the donors and described the gesture as a powerful symbol of unity and support.

"We have seen the love and support Ghana has shown us and we thank you so much. Akosua Serwaa is seeing the love and is always praying for anyone that supports her," Adwoa Saah said.

She also used the occasion to urge supporters to refrain from hurtful words and instead channel their energy into promoting understanding and compassion. "We are not here to fight, we are just showing love," she said.

The donation comes after a Celebration of Life event for the late Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, which saw legal and public disputes between rival factions of the family trade legal blows.

Eventually, an injunction was placed on the event, but another Celebration of Life event, this time held in honour of Akosua Serwaa, was held on March 29.
