The Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) has hosted a transformative music seminar and free health screening event, empowering musicians with vital knowledge on wellness, industry growth, and professional development.

The event drew musicians, industry stakeholders, and fans to the MUSIGA headquarters, where award-winning artistes Stonebwoy and Celestine Donkor delivered inspiring messages and interacted directly with participants and fans.

Participants benefited from insights into the careers of Stonebwoy and Celestine Donkor, alongside the comprehensive health screenings provided by Gyasu Herbal Center and Anufaanu Herbal Center, focusing on natural remedies and preventive care tailored to the demands of the music profession.

Celestine Donkor, in her presentation, shared her heartfelt reflections: "My journey in music has been blessed, from the grassroots to national stages, and MUSIGA has been a pillar of support for artistes like me and so many others.” She applauded the advocacy work of the Union for the growth of the industry.

In a powerful moment, Stonebwoy urged fellow musicians to rally behind MUSIGA's leadership.

"We must unite and support the Union's leadership to drive real progress for Ghanaian musicians—it's time to build a stronger legacy together," he declared, emphasising collective action for better royalties, welfare, and global recognition.

MUSIGA President Bessa Simons praised the stars' commitment, stating: "We applaud Celestine Donkor and Stonebwoy for their invaluable participation in this seminar. Their presence not only elevated the event but also inspired our members.

"I must also highlight Stonebwoy's unwavering support during the COVID-19 pandemic, when he stood with MUSIGA to aid struggling musicians—such solidarity is the foundation of our union's strength."

The initiative underscores MUSIGA's ongoing mission to prioritise musicians' health, education, and unity amid evolving industry challenges. Future events will expand on these themes, with more partnerships to be announced soon.
