Nigerian Afrobeats singer Asake has earned massive admiration on social media after a video captured him assisting an elderly woman in a wheelchair during his recent pilgrimage to Mecca.
The singer, whose real name is Ahmed Ololade Ayinde Odunsi, was seen pushing the woman’s wheelchair through an airport terminal in Saudi Arabia while performing the Islamic pilgrimage known as Umrah.

In the video circulating online, Asake paused his own movement to guide the woman through the busy area, choosing to assist her personally despite being surrounded by other pilgrims and members of his team.
The “Lonely at the Top” hitmaker’s act of kindness has since drawn admiration from fans and netizens, many of whom praised his humility and compassion.
Others described the gesture as a reflection of good character, noting that such kindness during a holy journey carries deep spiritual significance.
