'It’s better for a woman to bring me down than to die in a car accident' – Ajagurajah

General Overseer of the Ajagurajah Movement, Bishop Kwabena Asiamah, has said he loves women so much that he would rather have a woman cause his downfall than lose his life in a car accident.

Speaking in an interview on UTV, which aired on March 14, 2026, the spiritual leader referenced the Bible to support his views.

He cited a passage from the Book of Proverbs, specifically Proverbs 30:19, explaining that the scripture highlights the nature of relationships between men and women.

According to him, the verse reads, “the way of an eagle in the sky, the way of a snake on a rock, the way of a ship on the high seas, and the way of a man with a young woman,” which he believes suggests that relationships between men and women are natural and even acknowledged in the Bible.

According to Ajagurajah, by the time he dies, he hopes many women will be arguing over him, adding that he wants the number to surpass even that associated with the late Highlife legend Daddy Lumba.

“I really love women. Honestly, I’d rather be brought down by a woman than by something like a car accident. I even find it funny when a man gets angry after being told he likes too many women. To me, that’s a compliment. In fact, by the time I die, I’d like to have around 30 wives, about 60 girlfriends, and nearly 50 baby mamas,” he added.

The Ajagurajah Movement leader also claimed that within his spiritual circle, he assists some of the men who work with him in finding female partners when they seek companionship.

According to him, he has even rented apartments for some of his associates, creating spaces where they can spend time with women, while others prefer to find partners on their own.
