Rev Anthony Selorm Dzadzra has revealed the inspiration behind the creation of the Women Redefined Conference, describing it as a deliberate effort to empower and uplift women through knowledge and spiritual renewal.
Speaking at the Women Redefined Conference 2026 held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Wesley Towers, he explained that the idea for the conference emerged while he was working on a book project.
According to him, a friend based in the United Kingdom advised that women readers often expect more than just a book, encouraging him to add a workbook or devotional to complement the message.
“When I wrote the book, a friend of mine in the UK said, ‘For women in the UK, you don’t write a book and there is not a workbook. So, they want something else, so I had to write the devotional which Vicky was reading from.'

“One day, Vicky had a conversation with me and said, ‘You cannot write a book like this and you won’t make time for us to have a conference so we can impact knowledge and we can speak to the woman.’ That is how this conference came about,” he added.
He noted that the conference has now become a personal commitment, pledging to dedicate time and resources every year to support women.
“I told myself that at least once a year I would devote my resources and I would devote my time to speak to women. Very soon, we’ll call it an annual refueling conference. It is just to get you to refuel again,” he said.
